Me

Cole is a design practitioner with a passion for gender-inclusive fashion, specializing in knitwear. His obsession with all things textile lead him to knitwear with a desire to create texture and form from nothing but yarns. Formally a data analyst, his mathematical and analytical inclination lends itself to stitch development and garment shaping.

While leaning towards designs traditionally viewed as “menswear,” he seeks to create work which is not constrained by a binary. Forward-looking in his approach to design; he believes clothing should reflect the diversity of our world and meet the needs of this generation. Through his experiences interning at LRS Studios and Julia Jentzsch, he learned not only technical skills but how independent brands exist despite the fashion monolith.

Digital work is the foundation of his design process, with a vast array of programs in his tool belt. Though digital work may be where he starts his process, his knowledge of materiality and construction helps to realize his virtual work.
