rot: (chiefly of animal or vegetable matter) decay or cause to decay by the action of bacteria and fungi; decompose.
what is so often looked at as an end to beauty is a phase that is so integral to life itself. decomposition and rotting can be celebrated, especially easy to do when looking at the colors and textrues which they spawn. mixing these colors and interrupting classical knitwear, a celebration of rotting is created through patches of brushed mohair and silk. incorporating these rotten textures, even woven bottoms are paired with knit elements to celebrate rot throughout the collection.
